As mentioned in an earlier post, I'm taking this opportunity to move the forums to IPB 2.2. The New Forums are currently at: http://discussion.krazyletter.com/
My move plan:
-Use the new forums for discussion, but leave the current forums where it is, until IPB 2.2 comes out
-When IPB 2.2 comes out, I will modify IPB 2.2 to include the bells and whistles we have on this version of Krazy Letter Forums
-Once that's done, the new KL Forums will be moved to forums.krazyletter.com, and this forums will be the "Old Krazy Letter Forums"
Benefits of moving:
-I will get someone to make a new skin
-Everyone starts with a clean slate
-Easier to post and navigate the forums
-Newer Profile View
-Forums run faster
-More secure
-Cleaner Organization (All the forums are now reorganized)
-And more!

Backup Failure

Because of a failure in backups (I didn't realise that the server does not backup the database in an incremental backup), the database has been reverted to one from 9/11.
If you cannot login, please check to make sure that you have registered BEFORE 9/11, or did not change your password after 9/11.
Because we have lost many posts and time and members, (used to be around 63,000,) I believe we can use this opportunity to gradually transfer to IPB 2.2 (first move the bulletin board, then when I rewrite the mods for IPB 2.2 we can use that as our primary).

Complaints About the KL Staff.
I have noticed recently that there have been many complaints about the Staff. I pose a simple question:
Is it possible for one to be on KL at all times of every day of every year for as long as time continues?
If you see a post that breaks the rules, instead of complaining, send in a report. It's fast and easy. It may take a whole 1-2 minutes of your time. We cannot fix something in the blink of an eye, we are humans, not bots. We are not lazy, we just have to work KL into our busy schedules.
Please feel free to PM the mods and admin about any questions, and don't forget to use the report button instead of complaining. |

Im not asking for much, but please just remember the 9/11 terrorist attacks. im not asking for replies or anthing, just remember. its coming up so it would be appropriate to remember it. i remember in 5th grade, the main office calling me out of school, get into the car and my mom was crying like hell. she told me what happened, i threw my hat on the floor and atarted crying.
